Careers at W.E. Davies

Now Hiring: Entry Level Carpenter & Lead Carpenter

If you aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty—or callused—if you aren’t allergic to dust, and if you aren’t easily intimidated by perfectionists…

We want to meet you.

We’re W.E. Davies + Sons Remodeling, and we believe in doing things right the first time. Whether we’re remodeling a lake house or hiring a new carpenter, we don’t rush. We’ve never seen the benefit of that. Our award-winning work proves that we value quality over quantity. (We’ve got 30+ years of successful projects to back it up.)

That’s why we have so few carpenters and so much business. We’ve built a strong name for ourselves on the basis of craftsmanship and integrity. We’re growing rapidly, but not so quickly that we don’t take a painstaking interest in who we add to our family. If you can make the cut—we mean that literally and metaphorically—you might end up retiring with us.

We aren’t looking for someone who “knows it all,” but we do need you to know a lot. We can’t say enough good things about our current carpenters who know how to learn, how to listen, and when to get the heck off the seat of their pants—if they ever sat down in the first place. (Wise guys, benchwarmers, and other un-teachable personalities need not apply.)
